First Tour Announced:: What started as a road trip across the United States has somehow morphed into an East Coast Tour! Girl Named, along with Mr. Andrew and opening for our good friend Adam Balbo during the last days of August and the first week of September. I received some very happy news last week that I (a Girl Named T) would get to play a short set opening for my friend Johanna Koons, and then play a set closing for that same aforementioned friend (as the bass player for Please Do Not Fight).

Not only do I enjoy Johanna Koons' as a genuinely nice person, I also am a big fan of her music and especially her video series (youtube.com/IsoscelesIcicles). In them you sense her voice and sincerity are far more mature than her youthful looks would imply. I haven't seen her in a spell, but I imagine that everyone in Mountain View will be showing up for this very special show.
